Saturday night, November 14, Jason Cheeseman of Grande Prairie was declared the winner of the 2009 Peace Country Idol, an achievement that has been a long time coming, and one that is very well deserved.
Winning this competition means Jason will have the opportunity to open for Emerson Drive, another local band, and will have the opportunity to make a CD which will definitely be a success, as his talent is undeniable.
